Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and can take care of a variety of floors. Find models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty and clean the stairs.
Many of the best models integrate with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1 It was quick to identify the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, but it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rug.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary based on how often you use the mop.
Like auto vacuum cleaner 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a number unique features, including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just drag a pad across a surface. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station if needed.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it could get stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also very good, with a pair spinning mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that moves out to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without having to reverse direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than its competitors However, it tends to leave a thick space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
Its app has a streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop setting, and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a reliable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always reach every last particle of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed specifically for this purpose. It is simple to connect to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with an aluminum body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen in this price range even though it's not able to clean your floor. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an automatic emptying system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and determine the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also collects dust in a larger dustbin that means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark off areas you would like the robot to avoid using the app.
